Section of Organizations in the Field of Integration of Migrants
The Section of Organizations in the Field of Integration of Migrants (hereinafter: the Section) at the Social Chamber of Slovenia brings together representatives of various organizations in the field of social protection and integration of migrants.
The section was established as part of the Erasmus + project in 2016 EAC / A04 / 2015, - Cooperation for innovation and exchange of examples of good practice and action KA202, Strategic partnerships in the field of vocational education and training - project "Integrated approach to successful integration of migrants".
The mission of the section is primarily to connect and strengthen the professions in the field of social protection in the field of integration of migrants.
Aims and objectives of the section are:

integrating common tasks and representation of common interests in the field of integration of migrants, for better social and environmental situation of the most vulnerable individuals;

preparation of proposals to improve, change or eliminate this situation;

drawing attention to all forms of social exclusion, inequality and threats to human dignity;

exchange of information between organizations;

promoting the development of various professions of employees in the field of integration of migrants, organizing and developing various forms of employee cooperation and ensuring continuous education and training of employees in the field of integration of migrants.
The president of the section is dr. Franci JAZBEC, and the vice-president of the section is mag. Flanci ZLATAR.
